iOS App Development

We build iOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI that feel like they belong on the device - correct gestures, real accessibility support, and offline behaviour that holds up on a patchy mobile connection. We handle the full path from Xcode project to App Store review.

How we approach iOS

A native iOS app earns its cost in the details a cross-platform layer tends to flatten: the exact feel of a scroll deceleration, the way a sheet interacts with the keyboard, VoiceOver reading a custom control correctly. We build in Swift and SwiftUI so those details are available rather than approximated.

Most of the work that decides whether an app succeeds happens below the interface. We design the data layer first - what is cached, what syncs, what happens when the request fails halfway through - because retrofitting offline support into an app that assumed connectivity is close to a rewrite.

What you get

  • A codebase organised by feature, not by file type, so it stays navigable as it grows.
  • Automated tests around the logic that matters, and none around the parts where tests only slow you down.
  • App Store Connect configured properly: staged rollout, TestFlight groups, privacy nutrition labels filled in honestly.
  • A written handover so your team can take over without reverse-engineering our decisions.

When native is not the right answer

If you need the same product on iOS and Android and the interface is mostly forms, lists and content, a cross-platform build will get you there for meaningfully less. We will say so. Native is worth it when the app leans on gestures, background processing, hardware, or platform-specific integrations.
